I&#39;m sure the politicians would love to report good news, but it&#39;s very difficult when the media is constantly setting the tone and then forcing them to respond to it.<br /><br />I live in Ireland and work in Australia and have noticed very little difference between the styles of news reporting over the past 6 months. It really is a shame that more people don&#39;t share your view.<br /><br />I&#39;m not convinced the outlook is as bleak as the media is letting on either. I work as part of a marketing consultancy, The Brand Factory, who recently produced some interesting research. We found that, despite all this doom and gloom, more than 70% of small business owners in Australia expect their business to grow over the next 12 months.
